How to: Convert an embedded PowerPoint slide into a presentation in Word.
Solution:
Select the slide and select the 'Edit' menu. Select 'Slide Object' and select 'Convert...'.
1) Select (Single click) the desired slide.
2) Select the 'Edit' menu and select 'Slide Object'.

3) Select 'Convert...' from the next menu. (The Convert dialog box appears.)
4) Select the 'Convert To:' radio button.

5) Highlight 'Microsoft PowerPoint Presentation' in the 'Object Type:' dialog box.
6) Click 'OK'.
